چکیده

This prospective randomized study aimed to compare the effects of nebulizer drugs on unilateral or bilateral dilation pupil that may develop due mask incompatibility patient in patients receiving inhaled therapy. Following approval local ethics committee, this was carried out prospectively and observationally period from October 1, 2018 April 2019 an emergency clinic with annual capacity 600,000 a tertiary education research hospital. The were divided into three groups: those given salbutamol alone (200 mcg), ipratropium (250 mcg/2ml), both ipratropium. diameters included measured twice using pupilometer device at hours 0 2 treatment. Ninety- one received inhaler treatment department study. process treatments indications not interrupted. Ipratropium (49.5%) used together 45 patients, 38 (41.7%), eight (8.8%). When absolute delta ratios compared, statistically significant difference observed between ipratropium, (p=0.001, 95% CI: 1.36-6.11 p<0.001, 1.51- 6.19, respectively). Salbutamol caused significantly greater diameter changes than other drugs. Although neurological diagnoses are considered anisocoria, it should be kept mind anisocoria also current being given.

Comparison of the effects of inhaled ipratropium bromide and salbutamol on the bronchoconstrictor

A double blind, placebo controlled compa-rison was made of the effects of nebulised ipratropium bromide (0O05 and 0-5 mg) and salbutamol (0-25 and 2-5 mg) on lung function and the airway response to hyperventilation in eight normal subjects. Both agents at both doses caused similar baseline bronchodilatation, confirming the presence of resting bronchomotor tone. The overall mean increases as pe...

COMPARISON OF THE ACUTE BRONCHO DILATING EFFECTS OF INHALED IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE AND SALBUTAMOL IN PATIENTS WI TH CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISE ASE

Forty-five patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were studied to compare the acute effects of ipratropium bromide (60 µg), salbutamol (300 µg) and placebo (3 puffs) on the forced expiratory volume in 1 sec (FEV 1) and forced vital capacity (PVC). Ipratropium bromide produced a significantly greater improvement than salbutamol in both FEV1 and FVC at 15,60 and 180 minutes afte...

Generic inhaled salbutamol versus branded salbutamol. A randomised double-blind study.

Generic substitution of salbutamol lags behind that of other drugs in Scotland and a negative perception by both patients and doctors may explain this. The aim of this study was to assess whether, in clinical practice, there was any difference in efficacy between branded salbutamol (Ventolin) and a generic preparation. Asthmatic patients using a Ventolin metered-dose inhaler at least twice a da...
